He may be a Beast…
Known as Beast in his village for both his hulking size and multitude of scars, Benton long ago resigned himself to a life without love and was content with his solitary existence. That is until Nissa entered his life.
...but she is no Beauty.
Plain and plain-spoken, Nissa came to the village three years ago looking for a fresh start and a quiet life. She had both until the day her friend Benton disappears and a new man arrives at the village – handsome, charming, and intent on courting her.
A fairy godmother gives Benton his greatest wish. Now that he is a beauty and not a beast, Benton intends to make Nissa fall in love with him. However, scars don’t have to be visible to exist. Will Nissa’s past destroy any chance of their Happily Ever After?

Thoughts:
Wow! Another HOT captivating fractured fairy tale!   I didn't want to put it down!   This is the 2nd book in Monsch's Fairy Tales and Ever Afters series.

This 86-page novella is a re-telling of the story of Beauty and the Beast. Nissa has fallen in love with Benton and he with her. Nissa, though, is plain and doesn't think that Benton could ever fall in love with her. AND Benton thinks of himself as the Beast and doesn't think that Nissa could ever care for him that way. When Benton's fairy godmother offers him one wish, Benton wishes to be an attractive man. His wish is granted, but with a caveat: he can't tell anyone, including Nissa, that he is Benton. How can he get Nissa to fall in love with him now?

I loved this re-telling! Danielle's imagination obviously knows no bounds!
