Is love in the cards?

Since birth, Lexie Berry has had nothing but bad luck. Orphaned at an early age, she had a rough childhood and a boyfriend who was murdered. Now the beautiful, stylish Lexie is determined to change her luck and her life. But first she's got to make good on a promise: to pick up Ty Walker from prison. One look at the gorgeous ex-convict and Lexie knows she's in trouble-and already thinking about taking a walk on the wild side . . .

For five years, Ty was imprisoned for a crime he didn't commit. Now he wants revenge on the people who framed him. Yet when the high-stakes poker player sees the leggy Lexie, he suddenly has other desires on his mind. Realizing that Ty is innocent, Lexie tries to stop his plan for vengeance and help him become a better man. But as Ty battles his inner demons, dirty cops and criminals plot to take him out. Can he and Lexie find a way to escape the past?

Thoughts:
Finally, FINALLY, I see what all the fuss is about!

Ty Walker was wrongfully imprisoned for five years but now he's out and he's looking for vengeance. Ty expects to get his hands plenty dirty while doing it but what he doesn't expect is to walk out of those prison gates to a leggy and gorgeous brunette. Lexie Berry has been on the wrong side of Lady Luck all her life and having to pick an ex-convict up from prison and take him where he needs to go is just one example in a million of that fact. But when this tall, dark, and oh-so-hot man walks into her life she thinks that just maybe, her luck is finally turning around. Can Lexie convince Ty that taking revenge on those who did him wrong won't make his life better or is dirty cops, low-life criminals, and a past they can't seem to shake Lady Luck's way of telling them that it just wasn't meant to be?

Coming into Lady Luck I really wasn't expecting that much because while I liked the previous books from Kristen Ashley that I read, I wasn't blown away by them like so many promised me. ;-P That being said, Ty...*dreamy sigh*...I totally get it now. Ty Walker is a big, mean, dirty-mouthed poker player/street racer/auto mechanic with a taste for the finer things in life. He married Lexie to cover for an alibi in case anything went wrong with his plans of vengeance or just in case the local police decided to mess with him. He planned to treat her well, pay her for her time, get her away from a rotten criminal in the process, and then move on in a few months. But Lexie turned out to be more then he expected and didn't know he needed. Lexie Berry is one of my favorite heroines to date. She's smart, sexy, independent, a total goof, sweet, and we can't forget stylish! I had no trouble relating to her or her feelings. Ty could be a jerk at times, he had his hangups due to a bad upbringing and past experiences. Lexie had a similar back-story but while Ty was darkness, Lex was all light. But Ty would also do anything in his power to make Lexie happy and once he finally got with the program, lordy, I just melted into a puddle for this man.

Tate and Wood (Sweet Dreams) return for Lady Luck and Nina and Max (The Gamble) play an integral role in the story as well. There was not much about Lady Luck that I didn't love. The story had me alternating between swooning, crying, laughing and some quivering in my girly parts. lol I can't wait to see what comes next in the Colorado Mountain series. Team Walker all the way!
