One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love

Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what’s happened in Vegas staying there.

Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.

Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

Thoughts:
AN AMAZING MODERN DAY FAIRY TALE!!!!!

ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED ON PURPOSE by Rachel Harris is a sweet contemporary romance featuring a country western crooner and a quirky, down-home girl.  It's the third book in Rachel's Love and Games series set in the Louisiana bayou.   There are interconnected characters in the books and a tad of a continuing thread but this book can be easily read as a standalone.   However, I highly recommend reading all the books in this series as they are all fantastic reads.

#1: Taste the Heat (Fire Captain Jason Landry and Chef Colby Robicheaux)

#2: Seven Day Fiancé (Crooning Restaurant Owner Cane Robicheaux  and Angelle Prejean)

#3: Accidentally Married on Purpose (Country music artist Tyler Blue and Sherry Robicheaux)

I was so excited to read Sherry's story as she's been an adorable, well-liked character in this series and she needed her own book!  She's such a genuine person, spunky with loads of personality and sporting her signature "wild child" purple hair!  Tyler, our hero, is definitely at the top of my list of favorite book boyfriends.   He's H-O-T, lonely, and protective of his heart.

As the book begins,  Sherry is leaving for Las Vegas to oversee a catering job for the famous country band Blue.   She plans on it being her last irresponsible weekend and is determined to have a last fling before finding a Mr. Boring to settle down with.  A chance encounter with Tyler, who she thinks is a roadie for the band, leads to an accidental marriage that neither Sherry nor Tyler had planned on.  Oh my!  The chemistry between Tyler and Sherry was off-the-charts sexy and romantic.  Following is just a tease of my very favorite quotes illustrating the humor and tenderness between our two primary characters:

---
“Apparently, I'm a sucker for a man with belt buckles the size of Texas.”
---
“What a good morning it was. Tyler stood before her, six-plus feet of denim-clad hotness. A woodsy scent wafted toward her, and she inhaled deeply, loving the smell of his cologne. The man was gorgeous, and he was hers for the next twenty-four hours.”
---
“My flight arrives at eight in the morning," he mentioned casually. "Any chance you can come and get me?"
...
"Pick you up from the airport? That seems hardcore, Ty. Normally, I'm married to a guy for at least a couple weeks before I take that big a step.”
---
“Elvis is sweet, but I prefer sleeping with you.”
---
“Great. So basically you're saying your entire family is trained to kick my ass if I step out of line."
Sherry tapped his chest with a smirk she didn't quite feel. "AND don't you forget it."
"Well, except for me," Colby replied. "I leave the fighting to my man. I'd just slip something in your food.”
---

I laughed and swooned.  There truly wasn't a single dull moment in this book.  Supporting characters were awesome, too, as many were returning favorites from the preceding books.  I had so many favorite scenes!  My most favorite was near the end when Tyler came in a door as Sherry was fixing to exit via the same door.  I feel good just thinking about it!  I also have to mention Tyler's sweet post-it notes that he left for Sherry every morning.  They were the most swoon-worthy notes ever.

Bottomline:  I LOVED it!! As soon as I finished it, I went back and immediately read the last few chapters again as I wanted to enjoy a double-dose of warm fuzzies.  ACCIDENTLLY MARRIED ON PURPOSE is a book that I will definitely re-read whenever I crave a feel-good fix.  No one writes happy ever after endings like Rachel!  They're the best!  If you are looking for a light romantic read with southern charm, humor, romance, and a finale that will leave your face sore from smiling, then look no further than ACCIDENTALLY MARRIED ON PURPOSE!
