Fifty Shades of Grey (Fifty Shades, #1)
...Eighteen slaps in total. My body is singing, singing from his merciless assault.
"Enough," he breathes hoarsely. "Well done, Anastasia. Now I'm going to fuck you."
He caresses my behind gently, and it burns as he strokes me round and round and down. Suddenly, he inserts two fingers inside me, taking me completely by surprise. I gasp, this new assault breaking through the numbness around my brain.
"Fell this. See how much your body likes this, Anastasia. You're soaking just for me."
There is awe in his voice. He moves his fingers, in and out in quick succession.
I groan, no surely not, and then his fingers are gone...and I'm left wanting.
"Next time, I will get you to count. Now where's that condom?"

I have to say, I was skeptical at first but I really liked this book and am now delving into book #2! Now it's your turn! Show me your sexy by linking up below!

  1. Awesome book. Loved it. Wow it seems like everyone I know is reading Fifty Shades of Grey this week. I just lent mine out to a co-worker and a few of our clients are also reading it. I have not read the others yet. Sorry babe will have to play next week. Haha I had too much wine Sat. and played with my blog and had to revamp it. Haha Don't drink and blog.

  2. Great snippet--I'm still not completely sure if I'll read this series or not...I've heard a lot of great things about it, but it's not the kind I would normally pick up. *Shrugs* But who knows. Maybe one of these days. If I can conquer the TBR mountain in my room first... :)

  3. Crystal,
That's the one scene in the book that upset me the most. When he left her afterward, she felt violated and it was obvious.

I thought the hottest scene in the book was when they got into the elevator and he said, "F*@k the paperwork!" and pushed her against the wall and kissed her. I grinned like a fiend at that and I was sitting amidst all kinds of folks waiting for my car. LOL!!

  4. Crystal--
I have to admit that I am among the minority with this book--IMHO, there are much better BDSM books out there.
But great snippett and I'm glad you are liking the series...
    Here is my snippett:

  5. I found it an emotional read and that was a pretty intense scene, Amy but I think the belt scene near the end was more so. The thing is, Christian didn't see it that way. It's kind of the 'two sides' thing and you have to be able to see both with this book. There are some definite steamy elevator scenes in this series though, for sure! ;)

Trish; ground-breaking BDSM book, I agree this is not. ;) But as a novel alone, I loved the characters and all the emotions surging through it. I'm not sure whether I will do a review on it, maybe a short discussion or my thoughts? *shrugs* We shall see...

    Thanks for commenting!

  6. Crystal,
I agree about the belt scene, the difference for me was that she didn't let him touch her after he used the belt. When he spanked her, she still felt she couldn't react to it - hence my sense of violation. I know she goes back again even after the belt but for a moment in time she said, 'enough' and stood up to him.
Have you read the next one or are you? I haven't decided yet and thankfully my TBR list is too long to give into it now. : )

  7. True, Amy, it's all pretty intense. I'll message you on FB about bk#2. :)

  8. Finally-- I actually did a SST like I've been saying for, what a few months? Lol. I'll try my hardest to participate every week--I love this meme! :)
