Question of the Week:

Have you read a romance or erotic novel with an M/M or F/F relationship in it? If so, did you enjoy the read? And if you haven't, is that something you would read in the future?

My answer:

The Turning (Blood Ties, #1)
I have never read a strictly M/M or F/F book, it's just not my preference. But I have read a few books with secondary characters having a M/M sexual relationship.  J.R. Ward's Lover Reborn had a brief glimpse of one that didn't get too graphic but was good. A series that really sticks out to me for this is Jennifer Armintrout's Blood Ties' series. There is a secondary character in there that had a sexual M/M relationship that was detailed and pretty dang hot. That was my first experience reading about that kind of relationship and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It was very well-written.

Since hearing that J.R. Ward will be giving us Qhuinn & Blay's book next in the BDB series I am a bit torn on that subject though, will I like it? I'm totally excited for it and love, love, love Qhuinn. He deserves a HEA. I also think with Layla and the other characters that the story will be balanced out well for everyone. I have every confidence in the WARDen pulling it off. ;) Is it next year yet? But I'd like to hear your thoughts on it as well, feel free to share even if you aren't participating in the follow.

Now it's your turn! Join the follow and link up below!

  1. I love male/male romance (erotic or sweet), but I know it's not for everyone.

As for Qhuinn and Blay, all I can say is that it's about time these two got their HEA. LOL.

  3. I love Qhuay, too, and can't wait until next year! I've read a reasonable amount of M/M, this post has made me realise - but I can't think of any F/F. I'm all about the hot boys!

  6. I've read quite a few M/M stories. I find they can be just as sweet and romantic as M/F, and I don't have a problem reading the sex scenes.

Add another to the list of people that are impatient for Quinn and Blay to get their HEA!!

  9. Great question this week!! Really got me to thinking about what I read and why!! I will read Qhuays book, but I not sure if it will be just for them or because it is another in the BDB series.

  10. Nope but I did read one with a threesome. I thought the book was good. It was Leader of the Pack by Leighann Phoenix.

I was a little busy to blog today, but I wanted to stop by.

  11. I love M/M romance. I'm also VERY excited for Qhuinn & Blay. I've read a few great M/M erotics. I'm pretty easy to please, as long as it has a good story line, I'll read M/M, F/F or anything else. Great question!
