Ten years ago, Todd Lansing stood over his father’s grave, his heart thumping out curses on Sia Collins for causing his death. When he returns to Oberon and sees Sia again, his heart thumps with a different emotion, one he fights with all the anger he still feels.Sia didn’t commit the break-in that ended up killing Mr Lansing, but to admit that would send her father to jail. She has rebuilt her life in the small town, atoned for her accused crime, and carved out a niche using her talent with paint to reach out to the community, raise funds, and support her family. When Todd finds out the truth, he can’t understand why Sia won’t speak out and clear her name, and it threatens to tear them apart. With her relationship with Todd on the line, will Sia choose loyalty or love?

Excerpt
It took fifteen minutes to get to Todd’s flat in Drummoyne. He lived on the top floor of a three-storey block in a neat and tidy but quite plain two-bedroom unit.

They rushed up the stairs and Sia only made it to the middle of the loungeroom before Todd, after locking the door, caught hold of her. He crushed her against him, his mouth plundering hers.

He lifted her and then they were on the couch, her straddling his lap. He grabbed the bottom of her dress and Sia pulled back as he reefed it over her head and tossed it aside. Then he unhooked her bra and it joined the dress on the floor.

Todd cupped her breasts and sighed. “You’re right, they are beautiful.” Then he put a hand to her back and pulled her closer so he could bring her left breast to his mouth.

His tongue flicked over her nipple, drawing it out, hardening it and then he took it into his mouth and sucked on it. Sia gasped, her back arching to unconciously offer herself to him.

His mouth was hot and his tongue toyed with her nipple, rubbing it before suction then strained every nerve end and sent her clitoris to pulsing.

He turned his attention to her other breast and her first nipple shrivelled from the difference in temperature, exacerbated by the heat that now pleasured her other breast.

Sia’s fingers dug into Todd’s shoulders and her hips shifted, searching for the desired pressure and failing to find it.

She throbbed, she ached and her panties were getting soaked.

She needed that erection she’d felt in the car and she needed it soon.

She pulled away, a popping sound as her nipple drew clear of Todd’s grasping lips. She sat on his lap, reached forward and started to undo his trousers.

“Was going to complain, but go ahead,” he muttered.

She reached in and cupped her hand around him. Thick, hard – he was going to feel so good inside her.

She had to make sure he was as hot for her and she was for him.

“Some things you should know about me,” she said, running her hand up and down Todd’s erection. His eyes widened, his nostrils flared, the muscles of his thighs under hers contracted. “I love to give and receive head. A little bit of bondage and smacking goes a long way and I get really turned on by sex with a possibility of someone walking in on it.”

The breath that Todd drew in was rasping, difficult. His hands wrapped around her thighs and the tension told her he wasn’t sure whether to stop her or continue the sweet torture.
