Lexi's Thoughts:

Magic is everywhere, affecting everything in Seph’s life. But what it all boils down to is how she feels, forgiveness, love, and trust. Wicked Circle brings deeper emotional strain and stronger magic, what an excellent addition to the Persephone Alcmedi series.
Seph makes you feel her highs and lows. She certainly has enough of each. She is still struggling to keep a balance for Beverly, and working on truly forgiving her mother (who keeps bringing up what she sacrificed for Johnny). Then she finds out that a trio of harpies worse than legend have been released by the vampires and are on their way to Menessos to pick his brain, and not just a simple question and answer.

All of that is enough to stress her out but it is far from all. Menessos is truly a member of the undead, so to provide protection for his lady he calls upon ‘Creepy’. Who this creepy man is and what he is capable of...we have only scratched the surface. All we do know is he is enamored with Seph.

Then there is Johnny, the Domn Lup so truly has his wolf out of the cage and has decided he likes it outside and wont go back in. When the beast takes over Seph’s life hangs in the balance. With that break of trust you are left wondering if it is possible to be repaired. Seph needs to keep their circle together...or has the balanced tipped and it is unrepairable?

What a way to leave things! Robertson teases you with a big revelation for Johnny. And Seph opening her eyes and...dare we say heart, to Menessos! How much longer till the next release? Oh that is right, tomorrow. Whew!

Rating: 4.5 Wines! An excellent Urban Fantasy vintage
