A woman without a past…
After a tragic accident left her with no memory, Kate Alexander struggled to fit in with a husband and world that didn’t feel right. She’s had no reason to question what friends and family have told her, not until her husband is suddenly killed and she finds a photo of a young girl in his office. A girl who can’t be anyone but a daughter Kate didn’t know she had.
A man desperate for a reason to live…
Ryan Harrison lost his wife in a plane crash five years ago. To cope with the pain of her loss, he dedicated himself to his job and to raising their daughter. Now a successful pharmaceutical executive, Ryan has everything a man could want—money, fame and power—but he’d give it all up in a heartbeat for just one more day with the woman he still loves.
Two lives about to converge.
As Kate begins to dig into a past she doesn’t remember, evidence leads her to San Francisco and puts her on the path toward Ryan, a man who sees in her the woman he loved and lost. Kate feels a draw to Ryan, one she can’t explain, but is that feeling enough to convince her this is where she’s supposed to be? As Ryan and Kate search for answers, they uncover lies long buried, a passion hotter than either expected and a danger that threatens…even now…when the second chance they’ve both been searching for is finally within reach.

Crystal's Thoughts:
I am a big fan of Elisabeth Naughton's Eternal Guardian's series as well as a contemporary romance/romantic suspense lover, so when I saw this title free on Amazon I took over my kid's tablet and got to reading...and reading some more...and before I knew it, it was 4:30 in the morning!

Kate Alexander is a woman without a past. Her memory, and almost her life, lost in a car accident eighteen months ago, Kate is trying to get her life back on track with a husband she can't remember and a young son. But when that husband is killed in a plane crash Kate finds out that he may not be the only husband she has and that she may have a whole other family that she didn't know about in San Francisco.
Moving to San Francisco in hopes of finding answers, Kate  not only stumbles into a complex scheme of greed and murder but into another life with a daughter who wants nothing to do with her and a husband so emotionally bereft from the loss of his wife that he's nothing but a cold shell of the man he used to be. Can each of them come to terms with the loss of their past in order to see the future possibilities or will danger interject before they have a chance?

Engaging, smoldering, nail biting and heart wrenching, Wait for Me is a must read for any book lover! Like, you need to go to Amazon and download it right now. Must. Read.
If you're an emotional reader like myself then get the box of tissues out! The chemistry between Kate and Ryan sizzled from the start no matter how much they each tried to ignore it. The trials these two must go through will tear your heart out though and the secondary characters were just as endearing. The story line is rife with emotional overload. But the romance, ah, the romance. Between that and the spine tingling suspense you'll feel as if you're in danger of a heart-attack from all of the heart pounding. The suspense had me constantly on the edge of my seat, my tablet clenched in a white knuckle grip. The plot had so many twists and turns, I was shocked at the whodunit and all of the intricacies leading up to the big reveal. It was a compelling mystery to unravel and exceeded my expectations in every way.
I was heart sick by the end because I was so involved with these characters by this time, they had dug so deep into my heart, that I wanted them to either a.) be real or b.) for their story to never end! I cannot say enough about this book so go get it and find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed!
