Interview with Megan Erickson of Dirty Deeds! (#Giveaway)

Our guest today has been featured once on the blog but today we get to sit down, share some wine, and talk about her newest release, Dirty Deeds! Welcome Megan Erickson!

Thank you for having me!

Lexi: It’s nice to have a guest who sees eye to eye with me, both in height and love of books! Short girls are the best and so are romance authors. What’s your favorite thing about being a romance author?

Ha, I am short! It’s funny because I think that my author pictures make me look tall? So when I meet people in person, they are shocked that I’m actually quite a short woman. Anyway, my favorite thing about being a romance author is the community. I love the network of authors/bloggers/readers. It’s really such a devoted and positive place and I love it a lot.

Lexi: We just had Thanksgiving so I am thankful for writers like you because I reap the benefits. Your Mechanics of Love series has been great and now we get Alex’s story! What are you most thankful for this year?

Thank you so much! I’m excited for everyone to fall in love with Alex. This year, I’m most thankful for the chance to write, a great husband and family, and healthy kiddos.

Lexi: Many of our readers might be thankful for their family, jobs and loved ones. Thanksgiving is an American holiday but what would you say the handsome Brit, Spencer, is thankful most for?

Oh wow, well I think a couple of years ago, Spencer would have frowned severely and said he was most thankful for his career, thank you very much. But now he’d say that he was thankful for Alex and for her family who accepted him with open arms.

Lexi: I would guess that Alex, the feisty mechanic in Dirty Deeds, is thankful for Spencer’s business company. If not for them Spencer wouldn’t have ended up in her shop, right? What would you say Alex is most thankful for?

Alex is most definitely thankful for her ability to work, her sister and niece, and the whole town of Tory, since she finally found a place she can put down roots and call home. I’d also say she is thankful for Spencer and most of all, for finally learning to love herself.

Lexi: It’s funny when life throws something difficult at you but after it is all over you are left with more than you had before. Sort of like a Christmas present. Thank you for stopping by the blog today, Megan! Congrats on your new release and we hope to see you again soon!

Thank you so much for having me!

ebook, 304 pages
Expected publication: December 8th 2015 by Avon Impulse

Alex Dawn is saying no to men. No to bad relationships, disappointments, and smooth-talkers. Focusing on her family and her job at Payton and Sons Automotive keeps her mind occupied and her heart content. She doesn’t really miss a man’s touch, until one night, a man shows up with the body of a god and a voice from her dirtiest dreams.

L.M. Spencer is only in Tory, Maryland, to scope out the town as a possible site for one of his company's hotels. The British businessman didn’t expect his car to break down or to find the hottest little American he’s ever seen holding a tire iron, piercing him with bright blue eyes.

They agree to one hot night, one dirty deed to burn out the chemistry between them. But from their first kiss, Alex can’t stop saying yes to this man. And when Spencer’s company threatens everything she cares about, they must make the choice to stand together or apart.

About MEGAN ERICKSON
Megan Erickson grew up in a family that averages 5’5” on a good day and started writing to create characters who could reach the top kitchen shelf.

She’s got a couple of tattoos, has a thing for gladiators and has been called a crazy cat lady. After working as a journalist for years, she decided she liked creating her own endings better and switched back to fiction.

She lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kids and two cats. And no, she still can’t reach the stupid top shelf.
