IT'S A SILVER TOWN CHRISTMAS, AND THE WOLVES ARE READY TO HOWL

CJ Silver and his brothers have returned to Silver Town eager to reconnect with the pack. And with the she-wolf newcomers renovating the old Victorian Silver Town Hotel, it looks like the holidays are going to be very merry indeed.

Laurel MacTire and her sisters are excited to be living in a wolf-run town, but they have another motive- to solve the fifty-year-old mystery of their aunt's disappearance. When CJ gets a whiff of trouble brewing, his protective instincts kick in-now Laurel has a hotel opening to prepare for, a mystery to solve, and a brawny wolf shifter underfoot. Perhaps she should have resisted the temptation to kiss him so wickedly in the snow.

Linda's Thoughts
"Can you handle it?"
"Hell yeah."
"I mean..." Tom glanced around the tavern where pack members filled nearly every chair at the wooden tables. The room was humming with conversation. He leaned forward. "Because of the ghosts."
"That don't exist."
"Right."
"Yeah, I can handle it."

A SILVER WOLF CHRISTMAS by Terry Spear is an entertaining holiday-themed shifter-romance in her addictive Silver Town Wolf series which focuses on a pack of wolves residing in Silver Town, Colorado. This tale is tinged with a bit of mystery over the town's restored haunted hotel, apparitions, missing wolves and three new sexy she-wolves. It is the story of C.J. Silver and Laurel MacTire.
As soon as CJ sees Laurel, he desires her as his mate. CJ is a sexy charmer popular with all the she-wolves, except Laurel, who has shunned his advances. He even volunteered to help with the hotel's renovation, but she turned him away. Now there's some human ghost-hunters in town and his pack leader has assigned CJ to keep an eye on them so they don't discover anything more than ghosts. That requires CJ to temporarily stay at the hotel with the ladies. Will this role serve to be the ice-breaker to Laurel's aloofness?

Laurel MacTire and her two sisters have discovered their niche in renovating and flipping old hotels. However, this is the first haunted hotel they've renovated and it's the first time their fixer-upper has been located in a town filled with so many hunky unmated shifter wolves. The sisters had an ulterior motive for committing to this particular hotel as their next project as their beloved aunt's last missive years ago was postmarked from this hotel and they would like to find out what happened to her. However, their mission to solve her mysterious disappearance is made more difficult because they don't know who they can trust in Silver Town. They're sure hoping that their aunt is not the ghost that's haunting the hotel.

It always brings a smile to my face to catch up with the pack as many of my favorite characters from the previous books returned in this installment.

Following please find a couple of my favorite quotes from this very enjoyable read:

Laurel returned to CJ's bedroom. "Do you want me to remove your clothes?"
"Hell, yeah," he said, and the growly expression immediately vanished.
---

She ran her hand over his cock and said, "This is the only thing I ever want to come between us."
His grin couldn't have stretched any further.
One of my favorite scenes involved some night-time Winter Wonderland action as the couple cavorted in the snow. Here's a short snippet that set up that scene:
"You sure you don't want me to come over? We could make a snowman in the garden, or one in front of the hotel for the guests' arrival tomorrow. Or we could build snow forts and have a snowball fight. Surefire way to wear you out and make you sleepy. Then we could have cocoa with marshmallows on top. And I've been dying to have a piece of that seven-layer chocolate cake. I can't quit thinking about it."

You'll have to pick up the book to swoon over what they actually did!

Even though A Silver Wolf Christmas is the fifth installment in Terry's Silver Town Wolf series, it can easily be enjoyed as a standalone if that is your preference. I should also mention that her Silver Town Wolf series is incorporated into her Heart of the Wolf series; It's the seventeenth book in that series which encompasses all of Terry's books featuring wolf shifters.

A SILVER WOLF CHRISTMAS is a fun, fast-paced, Christmassy paranormal love story brimming with enchantment, secrets, treachery and romance in a snowy setting. Because it integrates a haunted hotel, eerie phenomenon and ghosts, I think it fits well with Halloween too. Regardless, you can rest assured that Terry will bring the fantasy to life. I highly recommend A SILVER WOLF CHRISTMAS to anyone who enjoys paranormal romances! I sure wish I had a sexy wolf like CJ teaching me to ski!

Warning: This tale made me crave perfectly prepared hash browns, cocoa with marshmallows on top and seven-layer chocolate cake!
