  2. Thanks so much, Miki!

Because they've been in America and South and Central America are close by. I love a lot of the other big cats, but since I try to make them realistic, I wanted an exotic cat that had once been in America. I'm also now doing a cougar shifter series--which are also on the North American and South American continents. :)

  5. I just love your style of writing Terry and I have been honoured in the past to receive a review copy of yours. My question is how do you get your ideas and how long does it take to write your books, as the flow seemlessly together.

  17. Susan, it depends! With Wolf Fever, the World Health Organization, WHO, was predicting a really terrible flu epidemic the year I went to write that story. So I thought, what would happen if another wolf pack used biological warfare on the Silver Brothers' wolf pack? What would happen to them?

Before this, a man stole so much money from big time investors that it caused a major financial crisis. Men who had everything were committing suicide. It gave me the idea for Heart of the Highland Wolf and the fear they were going to lose their castle, their home for centuries. Also, I'd been wanting to write that story forever--love Highlanders. So I got to write about wolves and the Highlands, both that I love. Then A Howl for a Highlander was the trip to Grand Cayman where they have a lot of offshore accounts-and trying to get their money back. A trip to Grand Cayman before I was writing the wolf stories gave me the idea. And A Highland Werewolf Wedding was based on my love of Dunnottar Castle when I visited it in Scotland. So sometimes seeing a place, then years later, I write about it. :)

  18. Vanessa, I have to say that sometimes I write a character who I don't have any plans to write more of, certainly not as a main character, but then readers love her or him so much--as in are so aggravated, they want to see what kind of a mate they'll get. I LOVE it. But then that character has to be loveable and well, when the right mate is around...it can work. So Meara, Hunter's sister from To Tempt the Wolf, got her story in A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing. That book actually made the USA Today Bestseller list! So sometimes writing about a character that I don't think I'll be writing about is worth it! :)
