Tour: Summer with Jill Shalvis (Q&A/GIVEAWAY)

Please give a warm welcome to romance author, Jill Shalvis, who is joining us with two of her latest novels from her hit series, Lucky Harbor!

1. Hi Jill, thank you for joining us today! I'm looking for a house to buy in a small town, why should I choose Lucky Harbor for my home?
Well, if Lucky Harbor was real, you’d want to live there for food at EAT ME, the local café.  And also because there’s warm, fun, caring people there.  And hot guys.  What more do you want?  J

2. Tell us about the quirky characters in your books, who could be good for a cuddle or a night out dancing? Which character would you take fishing or hiking with you?
Hiking?  I’d want forest ranger Matt Bowers, thank you very much.  Not only is he fine to look at, he’s not afraid of bears.  For everything else, I’d take Dr. Josh Scott from Forever And A Day because I tend to have I Love Lucy moments, and having a very sexy ER doc at my side would come in handy.

3. In your latest Lucky Harbor novel, At Last, town hottie Matt Bowers finally meets his match in Amy Michaels. Can you share with us a little bit about what we can expect from their story? Is there a favorite line or scene you would like to share?
In AT LAST, we have Matt Bowers, badass forest ranger who stops to help a damsel in distress.  Except she’s no damsel in distress. She’s waitress Amy Michaels, beautiful, tough, jaded … and she is in desperate need of rescuing.  She just doesn’t know it yet.  But my favorite scene is definitely where she has to save Matt – and no I’m not telling you more, you’ll have to read it. J

Lucky Harbor #5
HER LOVE HAS COME ALONG . . . Amy Michaels loves her new life in Lucky Harbor. A waitress in the local diner, she's looking forward to her first weekend hike through the mountains. But when a wrong turn takes her off the trail, she finds herself up close and personal with forest ranger Matt Bowers. And even though she's tempted to kiss that sexy smile right off his face, she won't make the mistake of getting involved with the town heartthrob.
A former cop whose life went south, Matt doesn't let anyone get too close. But something about the feisty beauty caught his eye the moment he first saw her in the diner. After a hot night under a starry sky, Matt can't deny their attraction-or the fact that for the first time in a long time, he feels the stirrings of something more. Now it's up to Matt to help Amy see that, no matter what is in their past, together they can build a future in Lucky Harbor.
Forever and a Day (Lucky Harbor, #6)

Forever and a  Day
Lucky Harbor #6
LOVE CAN HAPPEN IN A HEARTBEAT.
Grace never thought she’d be starting her life over from scratch. Losing everything has landed her in Lucky Harbor, working as a dog walker for overwhelmed ER doctor Josh Scott. But the day his nanny fails to show up, Grace goes from caring for Josh’s loveable mutt to caring for his rambunctious kids. Soon Grace is playing house with the sexy single dad…
With so many people depending on him, Josh has no time for anything outside of his clinic and family–until Grace arrives in town. Now this brainy blonde is turning his life inside out and giving a whole new meaning to the phrase “good bedside manner.” Josh and Grace don’t know if what they have can last. But in a town like Lucky Harbor, a lifetime of love starts with just one day…

I am a fan of Lucky Harbor, although I've only read the first 3 books so far. I'm looking forward to the next three, and I'm sure Jill will continue to come up with great characters.

I'm definitely a Lucky Harbor fan! I'm not sure who I want to have their own book since I've only read up to Lucky in Love so far, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't matter anyways since Jill can make a rock entertaining.

I haven't read the Lucky Harbor series yet. I love stories with small towns in them. Everyone knows everyone else, they all help each other. I even like the town gossips and busybodies.
Congrats on the new release. Can't wait to read this series.

I have not started this series yet but just picked one of them up and plan on starting them around the first of the month when I have a lull in new releases and will need a new series to fill the void.

Thanks so much!
