A fight he must win...

Piper Oliver knows she can't trust him. They warned her that the tall, dark, and sexy black-ops soldier Jory Dean would try to win her over with his steel-gray eyes and deadly charm, but she won't be conned by this man they call a traitor. All she has to do is figure out the science necessary to save his life, and she's done. Something isn't adding up, though, and she won't rest until she uncovers the truth-even if it's buried in his deep, dangerous kiss.

A passion she can't resist...

Jory will do anything to reunite with and save his brothers-even kidnap the gorgeous woman who's working to deactivate the deadly chip in their spines. But the forces determined to destroy his family won't let them go so easily. Keeping Piper alive is more than he bargained for-and so is his burning desire for her. But with every second bringing him closer to certain death, can he afford to lose himself in her hot and willing embrace?

Crystal's Thoughts:

Total Surrender, a stunning conclusion to a phenomenal series!

Four boys, born from a combination of nature and science, raised in a top secret military operations compound, methodically trained to be killers. They have no one but themselves. Always together. Until the day they escape. Three of the brothers found love, a future to look forward to. But one brother is missing. They were told he's dead. The clock is ticking down on them. They have a chip in their spine set to detonate and the Commander that raised and trained them will stop at nothing to have the brothers back and under his control. The entire Sin Brothers series has been leading up to this climatic moment...

Gah! This was such a bittersweet ending for the series! I loved this book, and have been looking forward to it since I finished reading the first book in the series. But I didn't. Want it. To end.  No! But unfortunately it did, and Total Surrender ended up being a edgy, sexy, riveting romance. A thrill ride that you won't want to miss!

It's been the question of the series; Is Jory Dean alive - and who shot him? I try REALLY hard not to get too spoilery in this review and assume that if you are reading it then you have read the previous book sin the series. As you can see from the synopsis, yes, Jory is alive...for how much longer though is the big question. After a two year coma, Jory awakens back under the Commander and the Doctor's nefarious eyes. Caged, drugged, and studied, it is only a matter of time before Jory makes his escape but before he does, he must find out the code to disarming the deadly chip that was placed in his and his brother's spines. Jory knows there is no helping himself, the chip in his back was irreparably damaged from the shot that placed him in the comma. But his brothers still have hope, and if anybody can unravel the the mystery of the chips it is Piper Oliver, if only Jory can get Piper to trust him.

Two unlikely hearts collide in this romance! Piper is the daughter of the Commander. Oooh - Ahhh! She might not have known him most of her life but that doesn't suppress the need to please him, and she knows that if she can just figure out the problem with Jory's chip then she can earn the Commander's love and attention. The sexual tension sizzles from the pages though as Piper works in the same room as Jory and he sets out to convince her that he isn't the enemy. These two, I loved together. I have really loved each of the brother's and their significant others so that isn't really a surprise. Jory is the world's sexiest geek and he is protective to a fault. We didn't really get to delve much into his character with past books, since he was missing and presumed dead and all, but in Total Surrender layer upon layer is pealed away, each one more captivating then the last. Piper I liked. She was quirky and sweet. Frustrating at times; a little too trusting and naive. But all together a heroine with heart and a good match for Jory.

Rebecca Zanetti writes with unsurpassed creativity mixing not only suspense and romance, but some sci-fi/paranormal elements as well. The plot line kept me on the edge of my seat as these brothers came down to the wire. I must mention one little thing that affected my rating a bit; there were a lot of repetitive descriptions throughout the story-line that made me pause for a second but never removed me from the story. The book and series was wrapped up beautifully with one of the best epilogues I have read. In the end, the Dean brothers finally have the family they have always dreamed of and my heart couldn't be happier. I'm crossing my fingers, crossing my toes, and hoping beyond hope that this isn't the last we see of the Dean brothers! Bravo Ms. Zanetti, you created an all-star cast of characters with a unique and intriguing story line in the Sin Brothers and I loved every minute of it!
