A powerful warrior and commander of the dark elf legions, Bleu is a loyal and devoted male, and one who has never failed in anything—except one thing. Love. When an elusive female dragon shifter surfaces in Hell again, giving him a mission to hurl himself into, he gladly returns to his hunt for her and the deadly blade she stole from his prince seven centuries ago, but as he closes in on his prey, fate reveals she is far more than his enemy.

Having escaped from the black market arena and her life as a slave, Taryn sets her sights back on the task she began seven hundred years ago when her brother stole a precious sword, but in the three centuries she’s been a captive, everything has changed. Corrupted by a craving for power, her brother has become dangerously obsessed with finding the blade and using it to claim the ultimate treasure—the position of King of Hell.

Faced with having to end her beloved twin brother to stop him from bringing all of Hell to its knees before him, will Taryn be strong enough to use the very blade he seeks against him? And when Bleu finally catches his elusive prey, will he listen to his head as it demands he complete his mission or his heart as it demands he claim his eternal mate?

Lexi's Thoughts:
For those Eternal Mates series fans you know how long the wait has been for Bleu’s book. And we finally have it! Thank you Felicity Heaton! She brings us back into this magical world and brings together the previous heroes and heroines for some page time. Love!
And speaking of love… Dragons love treasure. They horde it, admire it, and want to hide it from the world. Funny then that is exactly how Bleu acts when he meets his mate, Taryn, the purple dragon. Technically he met her several hundred years ago and has known she is his but somehow was able to ‘forget’ and carry on.

Regardless of their denials once fate throws them together they can’t stop from completing their bond. The overall plot, that we saw start at the end of Taken by a Dragon, Loke and Anais’s story. Taryn had Loke hide a sword for her, a powerful weapon her brother has obsessed over. Well, now Taryn has decided it’s time to take her brother down before he dominates all of Hell. Bleu follows her to her brother’s castle, Bleu is captured but together they bust out, and then the brother tracks them down and brings a war.

The plus side of this war is we get to see all of our favorite characters together and interacting. Thorne and Sable, Vail and Rosalind, Loren and Olivia. We even get to meet some new ones…upcoming books 10-13 please? Heaton builds on Bleu’s character by revealing more of Vail and what he went through. It was amazing to read about the moment Vail was put under control of the witch. Vail and Bleu's interactions may have been one of the best parts of Possessed by a Dark Warrior. You get character depth.

Taryn is also a deep character and her and Bleu together is amazing. Her story is heroic and you admire her. You can also sympathize with her and the dangerous dark edge she balances on. Madness is a thief though Taryn stops before it can take Bleu from her.

Another great couple. Dragons, elves, demons and the usual variety of paranormal creatures that we love. And finally a happy ending for the one male who has always been against love…Bleu. Possessed by a Dark Warrior is a fun installment of the Eternal Mates series and one you shouldn’t miss if you are a fan and for those who haven’t started go find book one! You will not be sorry!
