His rival’s in his bed, and this rocker is ready to play.

Former rivals Quinn Bradford and Elise McKinney are not friends, at least not anymore. As teens, all they cared about was psyching each other out before concerts. But when Quinn—now the keyboardist for Shaken Dirty, the hottest rock band on the scene—returns to his hometown and hears about the car accident that shattered Elise’s career, he’s determined to make things right.

Elise wants nothing to do with an arrogant rock star, despite how bad she so clearly wants him, so Quinn kidnaps the stubborn little piano player and whisks her back to his mansion. A little seduction might be just the thing to keep Elise under his care…and in his bed. But amid pranks both childish and very adult, their past comes rearing back to haunt them. And it might be more than either of them can forget.

Thoughts:

SHA-KEN-DIR-TY, SHA-KEN-DIR-TY, WOOOOH, SHAKEN DIRTY!

That was my crowd chant. LoL Wow, where to start? I loved every single moment of Drive Me Crazy! The story had me smiling and swooning all at the same time!

Quinn and Elise share a broken past of teenage love, demanding fathers, world travels, and music. But when Quinn chose to walk away from that, and Elise, he not only broke her heart, but left her alone. Now, ten years later, her career as a concert pianist has been destroyed and her life turned upside down. Hearing that Elise has been hospitalized after a tragic accident in his home town, Quinn can't stay away.  Even while his own career and band, Shaken Dirty, seems to be falling apart around him. Always protective of her, Quinn insists on taking care of Elise after her injury. Even going so far as to kidnap her and bring her to his house to recover for the week. Together again, their teenager rivalry of one upmanship quickly returns and soon their childish pranks turn seductive. But when past fears are brought to the present, will a second chance at love be enough to fight off the demons?

Okay, if you haven't started the Shaken Dirty series yet, do it. Now! Grab book one, Crash Into Me, because this is a series that you don't want to miss! The band members themselves are not only sexy and captivating, but they each have all these little facets that are revealed with each book...you can't help but fall in love with them for their own unique reasons. The dynamics of the band itself is intense and filled with drama right now, their future up in the air. Addictions, betrayals, all this angst and inner demons. There is just so much story there to fall into and I can't wait to see how their future unfolds in upcoming books.

Quinn and Elise was such a fun couple to read about. Hilarious pranks and sizzling attraction flows from the pages, I couldn't turn them fast enough. These two have a past, which helps the timing of this new relationship that they are developing together, but despite that it all progressed at such a natural pace I was there right along with them. It's not all fun and games though for these two. Though some might say they have lived privileged lives, it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. And when the past comes back to haunt them, neither Quinn or Elise handle the situation perfectly. They balance each other out well in that way. Good thing Quinn knows how to grovel. ;)

The only thing that was nagging me by the end was Quinn's mention of Elise's broken engagement. I thought that it was odd that Elise never brought this up, internally or externally. Especially since she was portrayed as being a lonely character. It was mentioned and then forgotten.

All in all though, a wonderfully written story that delighted me. I can't get enough of this series and will be impatiently waiting for book three, Fade Into You (Wyatt), this summer!
