Infinite possibilities….Infinite passion…..Infinite danger….
His touch spirals through me, warm and sweet, wicked and hot. I shouldn’t trust him. I shouldn’t tell him my secrets. But how do I not when he is the reason I breathe? He is what I need.
At the young age of eighteen, tragedy and a dark secret force Lara to flee all she has known and loves to start a new life. Now years later, with a new identity as Amy, she’s finally dared to believe she is forgotten–even if she cannot forget. But just when she lets down her guard, the ghosts of her past are quick to punish her, forcing her back on the run.
On a plane, struggling to face the devastation of losing everything again and starting over, Amy meets Liam Stone, a darkly entrancing recluse billionaire, who is also a brilliant, and famous, prodigy architect. A man who knows what he wants and goes after it. And what he wants is Amy. Refusing to take “no” as an answer, he sweeps her into a passionate affair, pushing her to her erotic limits. He wants to possess her. He makes her want to be possessed. Liam demands everything from her, accepting nothing less. But what if she is too devastated by tragedy to know when he wants more than she should give? And what if there is more to Liam than meets the eyes?

Crystal's Thoughts:
Escaping Reality is a ferociously sexy and desperately  intriguing  story that I could not put down!

Just when Amy thinks that her life is getting back to some semblance of normal she receives a note from her mysterious handler telling her to leave NYC immediately and board a plane to Denver, assuming a new identify and a new life. Now Amy Benson, she follows her handler's directions  but meets the sexy, dark and dangerous Liam Stone on the plane. She is inexplicably drawn to him and he brings her a sense of peace and safety, but he also threatens her handler's orders of seclusion as well as puts himself in danger just by being in her presence. Despite her inability to be honest with him and commit to more than one night, Liam refuses to give up on his attraction for Amy, on his need for  her. And soon, Amy can't deny him. With a faceless enemy out to get her though, Amy questions everything. Could there be more to Liam then meets the eye? And what about her mysterious employer or sexy new neighbor? Who should she trust and will she need to run again?

Everything that you think you know about this story before reading, throw it out the window because you don't know jack! Truth. This is not your average New Adult read. This is gripping. This is the definition of tension. This is sensuality. This is intrigue.

Admittedly Escaping Reality started out a little slow for me,  but once it started rolling I couldn't put it down. I stayed up until about 3am finishing it and was definitely shifting around in the sheets because holy hotness, Liam! If you would have asked me last week if I thought being tied to a bathroom door handle was sexy I would have said hell no, ick. (I may have a slight bathroom phobia.) That was before reading a smoking hot scene with the sexy and dominant Liam though. *fans self* I kept peeking over at the Hubs snoozing away, looking at the clock, calculating when he had to wake, and how much sleep he would get. Hehe.  And we can't forget Liam's scintillating tattoo that goes from his belly button and leads down to certain lickable areas. Mmm...mmm... But back to the story.  Lisa Renee Jones has weaved together a compelling story with captivating characters, giving Escaping Reality the perfect blend of mystery and romance. You don't know who to trust, let alone Amy. Nothing is as it seems and anyone could be the enemy. The pieces to Amy's past are slowly revealed through flash backs, yet the puzzle is still incomplete. I liked the authors approach to this, clueing the readers in at the same time as Amy. You never feel left out of the loop and instead are immersed into the story line head first. The pacing of the story was ideal and the writing beautifully done.

And then the book ended and I was in denial because, no, it couldn't end like that! Annnndddd......now I have to wait until October for the next book. *lesigh* So this is what torture is like. Escaping Reality is a recommended read, you must get it today. But hold on to it until the sequel releases, unless you're a masochist, because the ending and the wait for the next book is painful. Just sayin'. But despite that, go get it!
