Sometimes the best place to find love is right back where you started…
Falling asleep in a different bed every night has made it easy for Cain Black to forget his past. It’s been ten years since he packed his guitar and left Crystal Lake to chase his dreams. Now tragedy has forced him home again. And though Cain relishes the freedom of the road, one stolen moment with Maggie O’Rourke makes him wonder if he’s missing out on something bigger than fame.
For Maggie—single mother and newly settled in Crystal Lake—love is a luxury she just can’t afford. Sure, she appreciates the tall, dark and handsome looks of prodigal son Cain Black. But how long can she expect the notorious hellion to stay?
The last thing either of them wants is something complicated. But sometimes love has its own plans.

Crystal L's Thoughts:

I'm in love with a rock star! Cain Black is a smoking hot man who grew up in a small town of Crystal Lake with three other friends, where they were lovingly labeled as the 'bad boys' by the town's inhabitants. Sadly, Cain has had to return home for the sudden and unexpected funeral of one of those friends. If only his troubles stopped there. He's been having problems with one of his band members, and it's thrown his life into hiatus. He's uncertain of his future because of this, and he's got stress piled a mile high trying to figure it all out. Not to mention that he's fresh off a divorce to a soul sucking woman. So the last thing he wants in his life is another complication. But as the Rolling Stones so wisely said, "You can't always get what you wa-ant".

Lo and behold, at the funeral, he finds another complication. Her name is Maggie, she's got gorgeous red hair, and a little boy who makes Cain smile. His head tells him that he should stay far, far away from her, but his libido tells him that the sweet single mother is worth the future complications. And Maggie has complications a-plenty. In fact, she's got a whole life that she's running from that not a soul in Crystal Lake knows about. Will Cain be able to woo the standoffish woman into giving him a chance? Will Maggie's past catch up with her? You want answers? Go get the book! This was an awesome read and I loved every second of it. I'd also like a Cain Black delivered for my birthday. It's a five wine glass toast and a heaping dose of feel-like-I'm-dying while I wait for the next book that is due out around Christmas. Enjoy readers!
