Tour: Executive Decision by Margie Church (Guest Post/Giveaway)

Please give a warm welcome to author, Margie Church!

In Executive Decision, Logan and Hunter are colleagues. While I was writing the piece, I kept thinking about all the people I know who have had office romances. There is frequently an unwritten corporate rule that these are discouraged, but some of us take that baptism by fire and do it anyway. Hunter and Logan are two such people. I had to laugh when I wrote the first part of the story that really did expose homophobic thinking, especially when Logan says to the CEO, "What would you have done if you had walked in on a man and a woman?" The guy couldn't answer him. I once worked in a large political organization where extramarital affairs were so rampant I couldn't keep track of who was the spouse and who was the lover. People were so blatant with their behavior it was ridiculous. And I witnessed great relationships develop and weak ones die in other companies I worked for. The heart wants what the heart wants. I don't think telling people something is forbidden makes it less attractive. Quite the contrary.  Just ask Eve.

Executive Decision by Margie Church
The prospect of getting caught while having sex is a powerful aphrodisiac for Logan Carlyle. He's viewed as the leader on the sales force, but in bed, he's a submissive all the way.
Hunter James is just as adventurous as Logan. He's lower in the sales ranks, but he's the top when it comes to his relationship with Logan.
When Logan's thrill-seeking desires create chaos with their careers and severs their relationship, Madame Evangeline's expertise is required.

CONTEST: Tell me about an office romance and you could win Executive Decision!

  1. Congrats on the release. This book sounds fantastic. Can't wait to read it.
I met my husband where we both worked. Dating a co-worker was frowned upon so we kept in quiet and snuck around, until several months later when we were out and saw one of our bosses. We were both "talked" to and my then BF decided to leave the company. We were married several months later and were together for nineteen years before he passed away.

  2. Hi Joanne, it's really sad when one lover has to leave a job because of these kinds of rules. I don't know what the right solution is, but I'm glad things worked out for you and that you shared a wonderful life for so many years. My hat is off to you.

    Best,
    Margie
