Crystal’s Thoughts:
Claiming Their Cat is a sexy little story that mingles erotica, paranormal romance and romantic suspense into one fun read.

Cat Watson infiltrated the notorious drug lord, Alvarez’s, cartel searching for answers about her missing sister. Once she’s found the heart-breaking answer though she knows that she must escape, if not for herself than for her unborn child. When she heads to a dinner hoping to be able to work in exchange food Cat comes head-to-head with Rabid Rio, a hired killer even more frightening than Alvarez. When he promises to protect her and her baby in exchange for being in his bed, Cat has little choice but to go along…for now…
Rio Wolff is searching for his possible mate, an unknown woman he shared a steamy night with in a bordello in Mexico. He might not know her but his wolf does and when a small rain-drenched woman shows up in his best friend’s dinner Rio’s wolf immediately raises his head. Realizing that this is the same woman from that stolen night and his mate, Rio will do anything to keep her by his side and protect her and her unborn child. But can Rio convince Cat to trust him or will she continue to run?
When Rio’s brother, Creed, returns his and Cat’s fragile truce is thrown for a loop. Can Cat come to trust Rio and Creed to protect her and her baby while exploring all their sexual desires? Or will these two brothers end up betraying her in the end?

Claiming Their Cat was a spicy and suspenseful read that was quick and entertaining. With action right from the start, this story kept me turning the pages.  Both Cat and Rio were strong leading characters and the chemistry between them sizzles right away. Once they get over the few humps in the road the pages scorch though their journey is in no way over. With many twists and turns, their relationship and trust develops only to be shattered. And then Rio’s brother shows up, transforming this already burning story to a full blown inferno. Not for the faint of heart, Claiming Their Cat explores several levels of erotica.
I was really getting into the story until Creed made an appearance, and then everything started to feel rushed. But it was still a good read and if you like sexy alpha wolfs that come in pairs than this one is for you!
I also loved the sub-romantic plot of Rio’s friends, Draco the vampire and Lucy the doctor. I really wanted to read more on them!

All together a nice paranormal ménage with a lot of story neatly wrapped up in a small package. Sexy, exciting and satisfying.

  1. Sometimes when an author throws in another character to make a trio the story can get away from itself. Doesn't sound too bad for this one. Does make me wonder though if Cat's baby is really Rio's form their steamy Mexical bordello night?

  2. Hmmm...yes the 'who's the baby daddy' is part of the intrigue. ;)
