18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. How to join in:

-Make a separate post for the 18 & Over Book Blogger Follow on your blog.
-Copy the html for the button above and place it at the top of your post.
-List & answer the ‘Question of the Week.’
-Place your name and blog title in the linky below and the url for a direct link to your post
-Visit the other blogs on the list and say 'Hi!' Following each blog is not mandatory but I know it is always appreciated, and if someone comments saying they’re a new follower it’s polite to follow back. J It’s always nice to spread the 18 & Over Book Blogging love!

Question of the Week: Reviews; do you write them as soon as you finish a book or not?

My Answer: LoL It seems like I constantly have 12 reviews waiting for me to write. (I keep track on GoodReads.) My problem is that I don't want to stop reading to write a review, I go from one book right to the next. I'm def. more of a reader than a writer. Thankfully though I have a pretty good memory and I can replay books in my head like a movie, I just have to glance over the blurb again. I've been trying to be better about writing reviews right away but there is just too many great books out there I want to devour!

So what about you? Do you procrastinate on your reviews like me or are you on top of them? Link up below and let us know!

  1. Good for you. I wish I could do that. Sometimes that is exactly what I want to do. Especially when I am reading a series of books. But alas, I have the memory span of a gnat and that just doesn't work out for me. LoL Thanks for hosting these meme's! I really enjoy participating.

  2. I totally understand wanting to get to the next book and leaving books for review for later. I was five reviews behind this morning, but I knocked out two. Rather be reading, but then again I love writing reviews too.

  3. If I have been given a book for review from an author, especially if that book is an ARC. I will review it as soon as I've had the chance to read it. Otherwise, it takes me a while to get round to it. lol

  4. I try...really I do, but can never seem to them on time. ah! well I'm glad I'm not the only one. LOL

  5. Well, I don't write reviews so that would be a huge No! lmao... But to be honest if I did I doubt I would write them straight away.

Once I get into a book series I need to devour every damn book before taking a breather. And by the time all the books would be finished I'd have probably forgotten what to write in a review.

  6. I try too:) I really do but sometimes I get hooked on a series I have to just keep mreading then come back and write.
