Goodreads - Kindle - Amazon - B&N
New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Julia London’s romantic twist on Planes, Trains and Automobiles
Getting her to the wedding on time is the least of his worries...
Kate Preston just moved to New York, but she has to get back to Seattle in time for her best friend's wedding. Joe Firretti is moving to Seattle, and has to get there in time or risk losing his new job. But fate's got a sense of humor. Kate goes from rubbing elbows on a plane with a gorgeous but irritating strange (doggone armrest hog) to sharing one travel disaster after another with him on four wheels. Joe thought he had his future figured out, but sometimes fates has to knock you over the head pretty hard before you see what opportunity is standing in front of a really god-awful poufy bridesmaid dress.

You can also enter to win a copy of The Bridesmaid here by commenting and sharing your (worst wedding horror story, best wedding story, story of your engagement, etc.)! US & Canada only please.

  1. I didn't like my own wedding that much since I was too nervous and too tired. I enjoyed my brother's... A lot less stressful since I wasn't the bride and I was very happy for him.

  2. My cousin decided to be practical with her bridesmaid dresses so her color for the wedding was...BLACK! I have to say black bridesmaid dresses really rocked my wedding boat. I just shook my head & said NOT MY CUP OF TEA.

  3. My cousin got married in Vegas and it was one of the best weddings I've ever been part of. It was less formal and therefore less stressful.

  4. I never inflicted ugly dresses on anyone, I just had a maid of honor and she got to pick her own dress. I've had to wear a couple of fairly bad dresses, the worst one was a pink chiffon number that I certainly never wore again. :D

  5. We had a family wedding where the dresses were not done on time. The whole town came with their sewing machines and finished them.

  6. My husband and I met back in November 1995. He proposed to me @ the bowling alley in December 1995. We got married September 29, 1996. We have 3 beautiful children 16, 13, &12. We just celebrated our 17th anniversary.
