Tell Me When by Stina Lindenblatt (Guest Post/Giveaway)

Joining us now is author, Stina Lindenblatt with, Tell Me When, a New Adult romance being published by Carina Press.

Top 10 Favorite Books

I’ve been asked to list my top ten favorite books. Now, this is not an easy task. Just when I thought I was done, I’d think of another book to add. Because the list is more like hundred, I’ve narrowed it down to edgy contemporary Young Adult and New Adult novels (sorry, Harry Potter). So in no particular order:

1. Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry. I LOVE all of Katie’s books, but this is the one that left me sobbing during one particular scene (as it did for many people). I read the book four times and sobbed every time. Heck, I even teared up just thinking about the scene.

2. Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma. This edgy YA book sat on my shelf for a year because I wasn’t too sure about the topic (incest). It’s a beautiful, emotion-filled book that left me sobbing. Yes, apparently I have a thing for books that make me cry.

3. Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles. One word. Alex. And no I didn’t sob. And yes, I love all of Simone’s books.

4. Easy by Tammara Webber. This was my first introduction to New Adult and there was no turning back after that.

5. Lock & Key by Sarah Dessen. Of all of Sarah’s books, this is my all-time favorite, and it was the book that first hooked me onto YA contemporary.

6. Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens. Oh, who am I kidding? I love Effortless and Reckless, too. Why? Because Kellan Kyle is the ultimate book boyfriend.

7. Finding It by Cora Carmack. I also love Faking It and Losing It. Cora knows how to make me laugh, and Finding It made me laugh more than the other two combined.

8. Whisper to Me by Christina Lee. How did I get to read this when it’s not out until May? I’m Christina’s critique partner. I love all her books (All of You and Before You Break), but Whisper to Me is my favorite. I teared up a few times while reading it…and needed a cold shower during other scenes.

9. One Week Girlfriend by Monica Murphy. (Yes, I loved the sequel, too). I have a thing for broken book boyfriends, and Drew was definitely that.

10. Impulse by Ellen Hopkins. This edgy YA novel-in-verse is my favorite book written by Ellen. It’s another story that left me sobbing (both times that I read it). I loved how the story was told from the point of view of the three main characters.

So there you go. Yes, I know I cheated and that was more than ten books, but I couldn’t help it.
What are your favorite NA and YA books?

Tell Me When
Amazon | Barnes and Noble | Goodreads
Amber Scott should be enjoying life as a college freshman. She should be pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She should be working hard to make sense of her precalculus math class.
She shouldn't be waking up her college roommate with screaming nightmares. She shouldn't be flashing back, reliving the three weeks of hell she barely survived last year. And she definitely shouldn't be spending time with sexy player Marcus Reid.
But engineering student Marcus is the only one keeping Amber from failing her math course, so she grudgingly lets him into her life. She never expects the king of hookups will share his painful past. Or that she'll tell him her secrets in return, opening up and trusting him in a way she thought she'd never be able to again.
When their fragile future together is threatened by a stalker Amber thought was locked away for good, Marcus is determined to protect her—and Amber is determined to protect Marcus…even if that means pushing him away.

Thanks, Crystal, for participating in my blog tour. You can't begin to imagine how hard it was to create this list. Okay, maybe you can. :) There was just too many books to choose from.
