Evie has her full powers as the Tarot Empress, and Jack was there to see it all. Teens reincarnated as the Tarot are in the throes of an epic battle for mankind. She must trust new allies against other Arcana, Bagmen zombies, post-apocalyptic storms, and cannibals. But she's also drawn to Death, the Endless Knight, who shares history with the Empress. She can't remember; he can't forget.

Crystal's Thoughts:

I am so ensnared by the world that Kresley Cole has created in the Arcana Chronicles! I am not usually one to read young adult romances but KC has placed these memorizing young characters into such a world that they must take on adult situations or they will never survive.

Poison Princess introduced readers to the main character of Evie, The Empress, her young life and the world post Flash. Life is now a game where only the strongest survive but it's a game that Evie is unwilling to play. Poison Princess also followed the budding relationship between Evie and Jackson, someone who Evie thought she loved. But in Endless Knight it is now Death's turn. Though the game endures, Death and Evie have a past, and though she might not remember it, he does. When secrets are revealed and the past is brought to life, Evie is torn. Yes, a love triangle ensues but it is such a one that you can't help but fall for both prospects. If you are scoffing at my words now after reading Poison Princess, just you wait my friend. Death has many layers, and being a strategic and immortal killer is just one of them.

Endless Knight and The Arcana Chronicles is story of survival and the chance at love, but neither is guaranteed. With Baggers, Teethers, and Slavers taking over what is left of the world, and the Arcana battling it out, you never know what is going to happen next! Action, excitement, love and lust, Endless Knight continues just as strongly as the first book and will keep you on your toes and have you turning the pages for more! When I reached the last page and tried to flip the page for more I couldn't believe it. I'd reached the end already?! I almost sobbed out loud. I needed more! Be sure to read Poison Princess before picking up Endless Knight though, as this series needs to be read in order. And don't worry, you will not regret the loss of sleep afterwards.
