Saturday Sangria: SPARKLING RED, WHITE AND BLUE SANGRIA (#Wine #Sangria #Recipe)

Independence Day is coming up quickly! How do you celebrate? With friends and family? Immediate family only? Barbecue and mortars? Go to a local event to see the fireworks and sample food trucks? No matter what you do, most Americans have some sort of meal plan for the holiday! We have a great sangria recipe to pair with whatever you may be serving. Cheers, America! 🎆☀🍷


SPARKLING RED, WHITE AND BLUE SANGRIA 

YIELD: 8-12 SERVINGS | TOTAL TIME: 10 MINS | PREP TIME: 10 MINS 


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bottle dry white wine
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup apple juice or white grape juice
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 bottle of sparkling white wine
  • 3-4 Granny Smith apples, thickly sliced 
  • ice


DIRECTIONS:
  1. Stir together white wine, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries and apple juice together in a large pitcher.  Cover and refrigerate for 1-4 hours.
  2. Immediately before serving, gradually stir in the champagne, apples and ice.  
  3. Serve and enjoys!

*You can use a small star cookie cutter to make star shapes out of the apple slices or leave them hole.
