The first in a new erotic romance series, Backstage Pass is a sizzling mix of sex, love, and rock n' roll       It's been months since Brian Sinclair, lead guitarist for the famous rock band, Sinners, composed anything. Unable to write the music that once flowed so naturally, Brian is lost without his musical mojo. But when sexy psychology professor Myrna Evans comes on tour to study groupie mentality, Brian may have found the spark he needs to reignite his musical genius. When lust turns to love, will Brian be able to convince Myrna that what they have is more than just a fling, and that now that he's found his heart's muse, he doesn't want to live without her?

Crystal's Thoughts:
Exciting, emotional and sinfully sexy – Olivia Cunning delivers it all in Backstage Pass!

Brian “Master” Sinclair is the lead guitarist and composer in one of the most popular rock bands, Sinners.  An insanely talented musical genius and a hopeless romantic, Brian is in a slump. Depressed over his latest break-up and unable to compose any new music lately he get’s trashed in a hotel lounge when sexy Myrna shows up.
In town for a conference, Professor Myrna Evans is heading up to her room when she notices a commotion in the hotels lounge area. Curious she stops to check out the pierced and tattooed group when she recognizes them as none other than the famous rock group, Sinners. As a professor in human sexuality Myrna uses Master Sinclair’s guitar riffs in numerous class discussions and is a huge fan.
When these two come together music and sensuality flows, but when things start going further then the quick fling Myrna expected and lust turns to love; can Brian convince Myrna that this is the real deal and that she can trust him with more than just her body?

Heart pounding and head banging, Backstage Pass rocked my world!

Okay, first off, if you don’t know me– I have a thing for guitarist. 98% percent of my boyfriends played guitar, the hubs plays guitar, I’ve grown up around music and yes, I will admit that I was a groupie in my younger years! It’s the arms; and just like Myrna in this novel, watching a guy play get’s me all kinds of hot! *sigh* Okay, so I will stop lusting and get back to the review.
When I first opened up this book and saw that it was dedicated to “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott, I said “Hell yeah,” dived in, and knew it was going to be an awesome ride; and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. There is even a character later on, Trey’s brother Dare, which reminds me of him. Not sure if the author meant him to be that way or not but it was cool.

I can’t say enough good things about this book, I absolutely loved it! If my rating went higher than a 5 this book would have gotten it! The first time reading Backstage Pass I stayed up until 5am and then forced myself to put it down and get a few hours sleep, the second time reading it I was up until 4am it was that damn good! The sex is sweltering hot and highly erotic, with scenes that included three-ways, voyeurism, bondage and from the back.  Not for the faint of heart but oh so good! Brian and Myrna were rich, endearing and dimensional main characters that were masterfully written. I loved every facet of them and couldn’t help becoming emotional invested in their journey, besides great sex they have a beguiling relationship as well. Brian was absolutely captivating, and not just because I'm a condiment queen too! Not only is he talented but so sweet and romantic as well; not to mention dark, sexy and tattooed up. My kind of man!

Each character in the Sinners group was unique, and I can’t wait for each of their own stories, especially Trey’s! But ahh…his book isn’t until book 5, how am I to wait that long?!?! I am definitely the Sinners newest groupie! I ♥ Brian and Trey; and that scene with the three of them? OMG, I've re-read it several times already! *whew* It does not get any hotter than that ladies!

There is also an interesting and sometimes suspenseful plot with intense groupies and a crazy ex-husband that will keep you turning the pages along with a humorous dialogue that had me laughing out loud.

My only teeny tiny disappointment was the ending, when we finally got the “I love You” and “Yes...” it was The End. I wanted to see some of their HEA, at least in a short epilogue. There was also a major revelation towards the end of the book during a certain three-some and I am intrigued to see how that plays out in the future!

Not just a truly fantastic book but a fun read as well and one that I am sure to re-visit again and again! Oh yeah, and you might want to have a significant other or BOB handy while reading, just sayin’…
