When Graham Barnett named his diner The Tourist Trap, he meant it as a joke. Now he's stuck slinging reindeer dogs to an endless string of resort visitors who couldn't interest him less. Not even the sweet, enthusiastic tourist in the corner who blushes every time he looks her way…

Two weeks in Alaska isn't just the top item on Zoey Caldwell's bucket list. It's the whole bucket. One look at the mountain town of Moose Springs and she's smitten. But when an act of kindness brings Zoey into Graham's world, she may just find there's more to the man than meets the eye…and more to love in Moose Springs than just the Alaskan wilderness.

Lexi's Thoughts:

You had me at Ulysses.

The Tourist Attraction is an incredibly well-written, adorable, don’t-want-to-put-it-down rom-com. It opens up with Graham hanging out behind his diner, the Tourist Trap, as he watches Ulysses the moose smear slimy-love-snot all over his truck.

Let me tell you, readers, I could smell the pine trees in the air and I was hooked.

Graham grew up in this small Alaska town and puts up with the tourists year after year, until one particular woman shows up and orders a Growly Bear. By the way, I need to visit Alaska and find a place to craft one of these bright blue drinks. Anyway, Graham feels the connection—the spark—the there’s-something-there-ness with the woman, Zoey.

Zoey finally made it to Alaska! It’s been on her bucket list forever and at last she saved enough and tagged along with her rich, yet sort of endearing, friend. Zoey wants to see it all, ride a horse, and breathe the fresh air. What Zoey didn’t plan on was meeting Graham, again and again and again. Hey, it’s a small town!

In true rom-com fashion these two end up locked in a jail cell together. Bonding time! And they help each other get out of situations they’d rather not be stuck in. I’ll save the awww’s and giggles for when you read the book, but know that there are so many cute scenes!

There is a moment where Graham’s starry eyes fade and he realizes he’s fallen for a tourist. But this is a rom com! They figure it out and it’s scenic mountain views…and Ulysses bashing into the truck for ever.

Lucky for us, Moose Springs book two comes out October 6th!
