There’s a new guy in town...

“Patrick Knight, single, retired Guard-turned private investigator. I was a closer. A deal maker. I looked clients in the eye and told them I’d get their shit done. And I did...”

Patrick doesn’t do “nice.”At least, not anymore.

After his fiancée cheats, he follows up with a one-night stand and a disastrous office hook-up. His business partner (Derek Alexander) sends him to the desert to get his head straight—and clean up the mess.

While there, Patrick meets Elaine, and blistering sparks fly, but she’s not looking for any guy. Or a long-distance relationship.

Patrick’s ready to do anything to keep her, but just when it seems he’s changed her mind, the skeletons from his past life start coming back.

The only person poetry-loving Cali Monroe hates more than herself is Logan Waters, the geeky kid who lives in the dorm building next to hers.

Ever since Cali's parents told her she would amount to nothing, she has felt entirely inadequate. Friendless and alone, she takes on the mean girl role in hopes it will make her feel better--and Logan serves as the perfect target. He infuriates her with his obnoxiously long lashes, his all too perfect dimpled smile, and his complete lack of personality outside of his intelligence. It doesn't hurt that he's part of the reason her brother is dead, either. So Cali hates him, and he returns the favor. Thus, their prank-filled, insult-driven rivalry is born, and torturing Logan quickly becomes the highlight of her life.

But when Cali's parents set them up on a blind date, she begins to realize Logan might not be as boring as she always thought. He shares her love of poetry, takes a sadistic pleasure in making fun of crepes, and he makes her blush when he calls her smile pretty.

And hey, maybe those long lashes of his aren't that obnoxious after all…

Two Roads is New Adult Romance about finding love, standing out, and learning to embrace who you are. It contains some language and mild sexual content.

He's in for the fight of his life . . .

Army captain Trent Davila loved his wife, Laura, and their two beautiful children. But when he almost lost his life in combat, something inside him died. He couldn't explain the emptiness he felt or bridge the growing distance between him and his family—so he deployed again. And again. And again . . . until his marriage reached its breaking point. Now, with everything on the line, Trent has one last chance to prove to his wife that he can be the man she needs . . . if she'll have him

. . . to win back his only love.

Laura is blindsided when Trent returns home. Time and again, he chose his men over his family, and she's just beginning to put the pieces of her shattered heart back together. But when Trent faces a court martial on false charges, only Laura can save him. What begins as an act of kindness to protect his career inflames a desire she thought long buried—and a love that won't be denied. But can she trust that this time he's back to stay?

Thoughts:
I have been patiently waiting for Trent and Laura's story since the start of this series and I had my fingers crossed the whole time that the author would be able to pull it off in a satisfying way. Back to You turned out to be an impassioned story of two people that are clearly meant to be, finding their way back to each other through courage and heartache.

Top 5 Reasons We Love Alpha Men

...with Rebecca Zanetti

I love Alpha males.  My books are full of Alpha males, and I’d like to be clear that an Alpha can be a great guy.  He can be sweet, understanding, and a good partner.  The fallacy of an Alpha always being a jerk is just wrong, and most romance readers understand that fact.  Here are my five top reasons we love Alpha males:

  • They’re strong.  An Alpha has mental, emotional and physical strength.  These are important attributes, and strength is important – the emotional strength is as important as the guy being strong enough to lift a car off you.  He has to understand physics to do it right.
  • They’re wounded.  A lot of Alphas are heroes, and they’ve fought and hard.  They take risks to save others, and they get hurt on many levels.  The right heroine balms a wounded hero, even if she’s smacking him in the head at the time.
  • They’re protective.  Who doesn’t want to be protected in this life?  Sure, we’re tough and can usually take care of ourselves.  But if a psycho 200lb bully is coming at me, I’m very happy my husband would take him down before he got to me.  An Alpha wouldn’t let anything happen to his love.
  • They’re loyal.  When an Alpha falls in love, it’s complete.  For all time.  Romances are full of happily-ever-afters (it’s one of the few rules in a romance, actually), and the loyalty inherent in a true Alpha male makes that possible.
  • They’re sexy.  Yeah, confidence and a bit of swagger are sexy.  Admit it.  That look you get across a crowded room from a confident man?  Sexy.  ☺

Fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me will be hooked on Ruined, an electrifying journey of emotional and sexual discovery that pushes two damaged souls to their breaking point—and beyond.

He’s the last man Chloe Girard should love . . . but the first she ever could.

Ethan Frost is a visionary, a genius, every woman’s deepest, darkest fantasy—even mine. And, somehow, I am his.

He stole into my life like a dream. Turned my reality upside down and made my every desire come true—especially those I never knew I had. He demanded everything I had to give and gave me everything of himself in return.

But dreams don’t last forever, and ours is no exception. Because my nightmares are darker, and my wounds deeper, than I could ever reveal. And as much as Ethan wants to protect me, the secrets we share will only tear us apart.
