First, I’d bring my husband because he can do anything and I’m thinking a grass hut on stilts would be useful. Also he’s never boring and he always does things for me. Second, I’d need a Whole Foods store. And third, my library.  That was easy.

AG: Thank you for having me today at Reading Between the Wines to talk about my new book The Rogue Steals A Bride.

Lexi: Your Rogue’s Dynasty is complete with your newest release, The Rogue Steals a Bride. This sixth book ties everything together nicely and will give your fans closure on the series. Were you excited or sad to finish writing it?

AG: Sad, sad, sad!  I hated saying good-bye to The Rogues’ Dynasty Series. The Rogue Steals A Bride is the sixth and final book in this Regency series and it’s been a great adventure. The first book was published in 2009 so I’ve been with some of these characters for over five years. In fact, the biggest challenge was to keep the continuing characters the same in all the books, but keep them fresh and believable in each book, too. When I started this series I knew each book had to stand alone. I knew I had to make each hero, each heroine, and each storyline exciting and different. But, I had to keep the same tone, pacing, and flavor to all the books. And, I have to tell you it’s been challenging at times but I love working to make it happen.

Hello, fellow bloggers – and I love the name of your blog!  I actually live right next door to a beautiful winery called Contessa Winery, and from my home, which sits high on a hill, I can see another winery, calledCarma Vista, that sits on an even higher hill about ½ mile away.  Another business neighbor is Vineyards Gourmet Chocolates, so I am encircled by wine and chocolate, grape fields and orchards!  What better surroundings for a romance writer?  My home is a Spanish design, so in the summer I feel like I’m in California … but then comes a Michigan winter and I am reminded I don’t live anywhere near there!  Still, that’s just another wonderful surrounding, because only 10 minutes away is beautiful Lake Michigan, and we own property on a small inland lake called Little Paw Paw Lake.  I feel blessed to live in such a lovely area!
