Bad boys are easy to fall for, but are they the right Mr. Darcy?  

The raw appeal is there, but what about the compassion and gentle side?  Kay Ashton is the ultimate Darcy fan.  She decides to go to Lyme to finish up her novel.  There she meets two very different men.  One is more of the bad boy type-far more sex appeal, smirks, and a cavalier attitude.  The other, Adam, keeps to himself and is certainly not flashy.  Kay finds herself attracted to the bad boy, but the more time she spends with Adam, the more she thinks that he might be “the one.”  Can Kay decide which man is good for her before she finishes her novel?

As a character, Kay is likable.  Sometimes her idealistic nature is almost eye-roll worthy, but it is cute in a way as well.  She is the quiet, contemplative type.  The two love interests are very different from each other.  The reader will have to choose which he/she believes will be more right for Kay.  The other secondary characters are rarely focused upon. 

The events of this novel were fast-paced where they needed to be and slower in other places.  Kay will really let the reader access her thoughts and decisions, the reader will be fast friends with Kay before the novel is half-way over.  The author’s portrayal of Adam is so close to the real Mr. Darcy that it is uncanny, the purpose of Kay’s quest to find Mr. Darcy is readily apparent.  This novel is recommended to adult readers.
