Hosted by Laurie at Bitten by Paranormal Romance, Parajunkee and Crazy-for-Books
The 18 & Over Book Blogger Tag Along is hosted by Laurie @ Bitten by Paranormal Romance. Her question of the week is: Do you have a recent hot m/m read? If not tell us another hot read. Nope, I've never read m/m and don't think I will in the future, just not my thing. I did just finish Meljean Brook's The Iron Duke and that had some very hot & steaminess in it. Vera nice...
EDIT: Oh, I just thought of a book I read that had a m/m scene in it. Can't remember which of the books in the series it was but it was in Jennifer Armintrout's Blood Ties series, and it was pretty hot.
Follow My Book Blog Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View. This weeks feature blogger is Hafsah @ Icey Books and this weeks question is: What do you do besides reading / reviewing as a hobby?? Reading is basically my major hobby and what I spend most of my time doing but I also like to make outfits & accessories for my kids to wear, sewing or by hand. And I sometimes sell custom items on Etsy & eBay. I've slacked off on this lately but when my daughter was a baby she always had a totally cute custom outfit to wear. I do lots of things with my kiddo's as well, my daughter has been in dance since she was a baby so we do that twice a week too.
The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy for Books. The QOTW comes from Marce who blogs at Tea Time With Marce: "What very popular and hyped book in the blogosphere did you NOT enjoy and how did you feel about posting your review?"
I didn't enjoy the first few books in the Fever series which I know a ton of other bloggers did. And I was nervous and ducking behind my desk while posting my semi-review on the series. *grins*
Thank you for stopping by, have a great weekend and happy reading!

Hopping through! I'd love to learn to use a sewing machine. I almost bought one a few weeks ago, but decided it was too expensive.

Happy Friday! My main hobby is reading too, but I'd love to be able to sew like you do. I've always wanted to make my own boho skirts and sell them online. Maybe someday! Have a great weekend.

That is great! I don't have one bone in my body that lets me make stuff. I can't even sew buttons back on when they pop off! I'm a new follower! My Hop is at Coffee Table Press
ReplyDeleteStopping by to say hi. Ok I really just wanted to ogle your banner. :)
ReplyDeleteIt really shows that to love or hate a book depends on a readers preference. It's always a must to remain honest in reviews regardless of the outcome.
ReplyDeleteDropping by from the hop. Visit me at Clandestine Sanctuary to know my answer. I am your newest follower. :)

Whoo-Hoo!! We made it to Happy Friday!! I have yet to fully get into a m/m only read. The closest I've come to that is reading Kate Pearce's 'simply' series -- yummy! :) But, I can't seem to take the F out of m/f/m! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend, Crystal!

Just stopped by for the hop. I actually loved the Fever series, but I do agree that the cliffhangers are absolutely HORRENDOUS! The one at the end of Dreamfever is by far the worst. I am really desperate for the final book. Hopefully you will enjoy that one a little more than the others. I hope you have a great weekend!!
