Friday Book Blogger Hop, Follow & Tag Along! (12/17)

Follow My Book Blog Friday is hosted by Parajunkee's View. This weeks feature blogger is

Carmel @ Rabid Reads.

Yay Carmel! And this weeks question is: What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?
Unfortunetly I never had the chance to go to college but I still hope to one day! I'm a stay-at-home-mama to two lil' ones.

The Book Blogger Hop is hosted by Crazy for Books. The QOTW comes from Alex who blogs at Geek on the Brink"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?" The Characters, definitely. I am such a character reader. If I can't fall-into the characters then I cannot get into the story/plot. No matter how wonderfully written it is.

The 18 & Over Book Blogger Tag Along is hosted by Laurie @ Bitten by Paranormal Romance

  1. HI old follower coming by to say hi and wish you a Very Merry Xmas.

I happen to at the moment love both plot and character I think they go hand in hand.

  3. Oh me what a question this week.

I really think the characters are important. It makes me want to read the book if I want to know the characters. But a good plot with twists just makes it move along.

I just finished a degree in Biological Sciences and am still working on a degree in Humanities, History, and Religious Studies. What do I want to do when I grow up? I want to be the hottest historian on the history channel, national geographic, or discovery channel!

I'm launching a new reading challenge that you might be interested in, Morbid Romantica Challenge 2011.

Also today is the start of a Ridley's Giveaway where you can win a Hardcover copy of either Beautiful Creatures or Beautiful Darkness.

You are the winner of Soulless & Changeless... drop a note to the Mad Scientist.

  4. Great blog. I'm now a new follower. Come visit my blog @ http://asthepagesturn.blogspot.com if you get a chance.

I don't think one is more important than the other. I think it takes a great storyline + great characters to make a book.
