1. Welcome, Lynne, and congratulations on your new release of Hot Nights with the Fireman! Did you do anything fun and exciting to celebrate the release?
Since the advent of the Amazon pre-order, I have found that my release days are less exciting than they used to be. After all, my book has been on sale for weeks. But, I did go to my favorite Mediterranean place for falafel. I wish I had a more exciting answer…sorry.
2. Yum, Mediterranean! That sounds like a good celebration to me. I hope you enjoyed a nice Sauvignon Blanc with your meal. ☺ Jason is a sexy firefighter known for his heroics until he has a little oops, then everyone knows way more about him then he would probably prefer! What would he like readers to know about him though before going into the story?
Jason would like readers to know that although women tend to get flirty with him, he’s not an asshole. He respects women and prefers a monogamous relationship.
3. Jason sounds like a keeper to me! As a reader, I don't always connect with the heroine of a story as easily as I do the hero. Valerie sounds like a smart, spunky, and fun character though. What do you think readers will love about her?
I think readers will relate to Valerie because she’s pretty average. Sometimes in books, heroines always have a quick sassy comeback, or know just what to do in every situation. Valerie is real in that she makes mistakes, isn’t always witty, but she’s kind.
4. Valerie sounds like a heroine that I could get behind! You have quite a few published works under your belt, how do you keep all of the characters and stories straight?
I don’t. ;-) I count on my critique partners to help me out. And I’m always going back to my manuscripts to look up hair colors, names, etc… And in my Coded for Love series, all the titles have the word, “match.” Holy confusion Batman. I absolutely can’t keep them straight.
5.) Well, I am glad to see that you are as human as the rest of us! lol Last question of the day and maybe the most important... ☺ WHY should readers pick up Hot Nights with the Fireman today?
Readers should check out Hot Nights because it has hot love scenes, a fun plot, but mostly 2 characters who are real and relatable.
