J.L. Berg's READY FOR YOU (Guest Post/Giveaway)

Please give a warm welcome to author, J.L. Berg!

J.L. Berg’s top 5 favorite book boyfriends (not including her own!)

(These are in no particular order, except for maybe the way they appeared in my head!)

1. Christian Grey
a. Do I need to list a reason?  Give me one woman who has read Fifty Shades that doesn’t get even a smidge hot and bothered at the mere mention of the words, “We aim to please.”  I rest my case.

2. Kellan Kyle
a. Thoughtless was the first book that infuriated me.  To this day, I can still say to my husband “Remember the book that made me scream.” And he’ll go, “Oh yeah, that one.”  But, it is also one of my favorite series for that reason.  I loved watching bad boy Kellan fall head of heels in love.  There is nothing sexier than a redeemable hero.

3. Jericho Barrons
a. When I first got back into reading after my early motherhood days, I was a paranormal romance fanatic.  I read so much of the genre that I literally hit a point where I’d scroll through pages on Barnes and Noble without finding something new.  It’s how I ended up reading contemporary and eventually new adult.  In my long line of book boyfriends…before there was a Kellan or even a Travis, there was Barrons.  He is the definition of an anti-hero.  He never wavers, but yet he bends for Mac and when he does—oh yum.

4. Archer Hale
a. I can’t even say the name Archer Hale without sighing like a schoolgirl.  He’s the exact opposite of the bossy, domineering ladies man we all flock towards and yet I still want to rip his clothes off and have my way with him.  His sweet, silent devotion for Bree was pure perfection and I would love to see more heroes like Archer in the romance genre.

5. Justice Drake
a. Hands off bitches!  I had him first!  I was lucky enough to beta read for this amazing new novel by S.L. Jennings that is topping the charts.  From the first page, I knew she had a winner.  His quick-witted, take no bullshit sense of humor paired with his sex on a stick physique makes him my newest obsession.  The hot ass cover to look at as inspiration doesn’t hurt either.

So there you have it.  My top five book boyfriends.  At least for now.  There is always room for more.
