18 & Over Book Blogger Follow #47: What book has you by the knickers?

ReadingBetweentheWinesBookClub

18 & Over Book Blogger Follow is a weekly feature that begins on Fridays and runs through the weekend, hosted by Crystal from Reading Between the Wines. This is a Friday blog hop with the objective to find and visit other book blogs that share the same interest as you, namely books geared towards the 18 & over crowd, and make some new friends!

How to join in:
-You should run a book blog that features and reviews mostly adult reads, some Y.A.’s are okay but 18 & over adult reads should be your majority.
-Make a separate post for the 18 & Over Book Blogger Follow on your blog.
-Copy the html for the button above and place it at the top of your post.
-List & answer the ‘Question of the Week.’
-Place your name and blog title in the linky below and the url for a direct link to your post
-Visit the other blogs on the list and say 'Hi!' Following each blog is not mandatory but I know it is always appreciated, and if someone comments saying they’re a new follower it’s polite to follow back. J It’s always nice to spread the 18 & Over Book Blogging love!

Question Of The Week: What book are you currently in the middle of? Not 'just finished', I want to hear about what you're currently deep into and your thoughts on it right now. Loving it, not so much, or mixed feelings, maybe? Get it all out, sometimes how we feel about a book in the middle is totally different then how we feel at the end. It will be interesting to hear about it now and then go back to check out everyone's reviews later!

Long question, I know. Sorry!
I am currently in the middle of two books. One for the ole' Nook and another print.

Inside Bet (Vegas Top Guns, #2)Nook:
Inside Bet by Katie Porter
I absolutely LOVED this first book in the series. So hot, I couldn't even read it while waiting in the doctor's office. I thought for sure someone was going to notice my flush! lol I am on page 78 in Inside Bet though and I have to say, right now Jon isn't as interesting as I thought he was in Double Down...I thought for sure there would be more sizzle to his personality. I have heard good things though so am sure it will suck me in soon just like the first book did!

Double Time (Sinners on Tour, #3)Print:
Double Down by Olivia Cunning
If you know me then you know what a huge Sinners fan I am, they're tied with the BDB boys imo. Very high pedestal they are on and the author is just brilliant when it comes to writing about these sexy rock stars. However...and if you are friends with me on Facebook you might have seen this rant already...I am on page 252 and despite the fact that I am totally head over heels in love with Trey's story as well as Reagan and Ethan, I am getting frustrated over the little spoils for the other Sinners and secondary characters. See, Double Down was suppose to be book #5 in the series but for some crazy reason the publisher released it as book #3. Crazy I tell 'ya!

So, those are the books that have me by the knickers right now, and in Trey's case I'd rather him be in my knickers! ;) Preferably with Brian in tow. lol What are you currently reading and your thoughts on it?
Have a great weekend me'dears!

  1. Oh this was a good question. My answer is actually quite long. lol But the short of it is that I was enjoying the book I was reading and hit a spot where I just had to put it down. Sigh. I really hate pausing books, but I had to.
    Have a great weekend!

  2. So, do you have to run a blog to follow & answer? Btw, I've put the Sinners on my TBR list because of you ;)

  4. Both are great choices--LOVE Olivia Cunnings and LOVED Porter's first book of this series as well. YUMMY read.

And you are like me...reading more than one at a time!

    Have a great weekend!

  5. Love the question Crystal! I'm so running behind today but figured I'd throw in a bit late anyways :)

I'd never heard of your first one but am so going to pick up book one.

And why in the world would they publish the Sinners books like that?! Makes no friggin sense. That would make me grumbly too!

  6. I heard there were a lot of spoilers for the other sinners books. Why in the ever freak'n world did they release these books out of order it makes absolutely no sense to me. But of course I have Double Time in hand and will be reading it in the next week or so.

  7. It's been a while, but I'm back! I'm finally done with school and can not get back down to the business of reviewing books again. I would normally be putting adding my link to this, but I was informed on Friday by my web designer that they were moving to another server and can't post until Monday! Argh! The horror, so I'm going to respond here. I've been losing sleep over Lori Foster's "Edge of Honor" series. I'm currently reading Book 4, THE PERFECT STORM. I broke protocol and bought it ahead of time. I normally start at the back of my Wish List and buy books from there. I wasn't supposed to be reading this one for some time. But I finally read Book 3 and needed to keep going. I tried to fight it by reading another book, but a co-worker mentioned that she'd started reading it. And that was all she wrote. There's a reason why Lori Foster is my top most read author and she's really proving it with this series.
