Ménage a May: Stephanie Julian (Guest Post/Giveaway)

Good morning and welcome to Day 2 of Ménage a May! Please give a warm welcome to an author who is both talented and super sweet, Stephanie Julian!

I love writing ménage.
I mean, if one hero is good, two has to be better, right?
Absolutely.

The first ménage I read was Lora Leigh’s FORBIDDEN PLEASURE. I was hooked. Her Men of August series is still one I pull out every now and then and reread.
I’ve written four ménages over the past few years and I always love when the story dictates a threesome.

In a ménage, there are three people but four sides to the relationship. There’s the relationship between the heroine and hero one; the relationship between the heroine and hero two, the relationship between the heroes; and finally the relationship between all three.
And yes, even though I don’t write male/male/female relationships (where the men also have a sexual relationship), the men always have a relationship. The story wouldn’t work without it.

In SEDUCED BY TWO, the heroes are brothers, both scarred by a mutual past. Tyler and Jensen are tied together by a dark history and when they meet Nica, they realize she’s the one woman both of them can love and who’s strong enough to love both of them.
That’s a recurring theme in my ménages—strength. The strength to overcome a dark past or the strength to love even when the odds are stacked against you.

In MOONLIGHT MÉNAGE, Tira is an Etruscan witch with the ability to see future events. She’s been in love with Nic and Duke, two Etruscan werewolves, for most of her life. But one touch changed her life. She saw Nic’s death and has been unable to be around either of them. Tira needs to find the strength in herself to overcome her fear and to love her men.

Until the day Evie Simmons was kidnapped, she had no idea magic existed. Imagine her shock when she finds out she’s got power she never imagined and oh, yeah, there are werewolves too. And she’s in love with one. And he’s trying to set her up with his best human friend. In MOONLIGHT TEMPTATION, Evie discovers that sometimes the only way to find love is to discover the magic.

In July, readers will get to meet Amity, Etruscan Goddess of Health, in GODDESS IN THE MIDDLE. Amity and the rest of the Forgotten Goddesses have been losing their powers throughout the centuries but when Amity meets Remy and Rom, a pair of Etruscan werewolf cousins with unusual powers, she finds her own strength is boosted by her sexual relationship with them.

Two can definitely be better than one...

GODDESS IN THE MIDDLE
July 3rd, 2012
TOGETHER. THEY CREATE THE MOST POWERFUL MAGIC OF ALL …Romulus and Remus are sexy werewolf cousins with an unbreakable bond. When they meet beautiful goddess Amity and save her from an encroaching demon, they discover that the three of them together are way more powerful than any of them could ever have imagined. And they're going to need that power to overcome the forces that are determined to steal Amity's magic and destroy the two men. As different as night and day, and each an amazing man in his own right, Rom and Remy make all of Amity's deepest fantasies come true ...

  1. Four Play by Maya Banks and Shayla Black was the first more than 2 book I ever read. LOVED it. Both stories were fan your self hot and the characters dealt with the complexities of having that sort of relationship instead of just hoping for the best.

  16. I have read many great m/f/m (and m/m/f) stories by a bunch of different authors. Some are and yet have some humor (such as Eve Langlais' books), others are just as hot but more serious. Just a few authors that I am thinking of off the top of my head include Eden Bradley, Joey Hill, one book by Laura Kaye, and so many more. I do love a good menage, story that is. LOL

  17. I love Shayla Black's Wicked series and my favorite authors would be Lora Leigh and Lauren Dane!

  19. Gosh, thats a hard question. I've read a lot of great M/F/M stories. The relationships between all three is what I like to read about. The dynamics or hardships they all encounter by being together. Coming up with the titles are a little harder. Shayla Black's Wicked series was very enjoyable. I'm drawing a complete blank here.

thank you for the chance at such a great giveaway. some of my favorites are by Delilah Devlin her Lone Star Lover series is sooo HOT!, then there is Sophie Oak with both The Texas Sirens and Nights in Bliss series and also one of my favorites by her is Bound, book 1 of A Faery Story series. Stacey Espino has several different series out now that i am wait to get the next book for. my favorite being the Ride 'em Hard series. there are tons more authors i read that also write menage but these three are at the top of my always buy no matter what. i think it's because they all write about one of my favorites "cowboys".
